And the winner is...
The Arden Hotel Rooms Division Manager Charlotte Rides has been named Manager of the Year at a small Christmas celebration for the team, hosted by General Manager Jason Adams.
Charlotte, who has worked in various roles across Eden Hotel Collection, went up against other Heads of Department and their deputies to scoop the award and be named ‘Manager of the Year’.
Charlotte said,
‘To receive this award is such an honour. I am very lucky to work with an amazing team and to be part of an organisation that has encouraged and developed my abilities over the years. I feel that this award reflects not only on my achievements, but those of my team who work hard to keep our standards at such a high level.’
As the Rooms Division Manager, Charlotte has been instrumental in the success of The Arden Hotel, by driving room sales and smashing targets with her team, putting the successful boutique hotel at the top of the league in Stratford’s hotels. She manages a team of eight, including the reception team, night porters, concierge and events.
Alexandra Daley, who voted for Charlotte in the awards, said,
‘Charlotte always involves the team in her strategic decisions, allowing us all to have a motivated and positive approach towards selling the hotel to our guests - Charlotte is a worthy winner!’
Charlotte has worked for the company over the last seven years holding positions at Mallory Court and The Kings Hotel. In her spare time Charlotte plays the flute and is a member of the Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra.
