Every year, 40 million Christmas crackers are discarded. When lined up end to end, this equates to 1,220 Mount Everest’s stacked on top of each other, and that’s not considering the unnecessary plastic inside.

This year, The Arden Hotel is making a stand against waste by producing a sustainable and socially conscious alternative to the traditional Christmas cracker. There is no plastic to contend with, and a flat design significantly reduces transportation requirements, resulting in a lower carbon footprint.

‘Tis the season for giving and the Eden Family are supporting some rather special projects this Christmas.
