Our luxurious terrace is set within the perfect backdrop, opposite the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre and overlooking the stunning River Avon where you will spot swans in all their glory and the pleasure boats that tour people around the canal basin. You’ll be able to enjoy your meal whilst taking in the views. Often people who experience alfresco dining with us appreciate the peacefulness of the space they are in and as an added bonus, you may be able to spot a well-known face or two from the theatre, an exciting surprise that pairs nicely with your delicious dishes.
The terrace experience is beautifully unique as you look out into the distance you will spot yet another iconic symbol of Stratford; the Swan Theatre, a strikingly beautiful building with its Victorian Gothic architecture. You can choose from a selection of elegant and flavoursome dishes; favourites such as our torched and cured salmon starter, to our Asian glazed duck breast main with pickled or roasted carrots, through to our popular banana cake and salted caramel ice cream. Our terrace is an all-weather space, with covered spaces that include large umbrellas and heaters, we also have blankets and faux sheepskins should it be cold, so your alfresco dining in Stratford is not ruined come rain or shine.

A Royal occasion with The Arden Hotel
We’re excited to announce that exclusively at the Arden Hotel we will be celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with a platinum afternoon tea, it will be a true Royal occasion to be enjoyed by all. This celebration will be available to enjoy from 9th May – 30th June 2022.
To keep up the royal celebrations we will also be offering a special platinum dessert, that will be added to our menu for the month of June.
As an added extra there will be a scrumptious Jubilee picnic on Sunday 5th June, if you want to soak up the sun and celebrate a momentous occasion, with a great selection of afternoon treats and drinks, accompanied by live music.
