Payment Information – Closure of the Cheque Guarantee Scheme.
Following the decision by a number of high street banks to close the Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme we regret that we will no longer be able to accept cheque payments of any nature beyond 1st June 2011.
All rates advertised on this web site are strictly subject to availability. There is a limited allocation of rooms available on the offers we advertise.
Special offer rates may not be combined with any other offer. Supplements will be applied to certain rooms. All reservations require written confirmation.

Cancellations, Amendments & Non Arrivals
All cancellations and amendments must be adhered to in line with the terms and conditions of your booking. Upon written confirmation of a booking by the hotel, the relevant terms and conditions shall be deemed accepted unless advised otherwise by you in writing. Any prepaid or secured bookings will be charged in full in the event a cancellation or amendment does not adhere to the agreed booking terms.
Any Non Arrivals will be considered a cancellation outside of the agreed terms and conditions of your booking and will be charged in full using the original payment method provided.
Cancellations and changes made by the hotel
In the unlikely event that we are unable to accommodate a confirmed reservation for any reason (including unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control) at our sole discretion, and having regard to the prevailing circumstances, we may need to offer alternative accommodation of an equal or superior standard, cancel or amend your booking. We will tell you as soon as possible of any changes to your booking and where a booking is cancelled we will agree to transfer any prepayment in full to another date of your choosing. Rates for new dates may vary from original booking. This does not apply to minor changes or events during your stay.
Check in Times
Bedrooms are normally available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure.
Events, Weddings and Conferences

Eden Hotel Collection’s policy of including a discretionary service charge across certain of the hotel’s services and retail outlets with the aim to reward every member of staff who contributes towards the guest experience.
It is often extremely difficult to acknowledge exceptional service from those members of staff who operate in less visible hotel departments, which is why the service charge is distributed equally amongst every team member. For our guests who choose to pay the service charge, 100% of this money is given back to the hotels’ staff.
The Arden Hotel & Arden House is responsible for allocation funds for departmental outings, monthly recognition bonuses, gifts for special occasions and personal development grants. Internally, the service charge has funded a member of staff to provide English language lessons to colleagues, paid out for gifts to mark birth and marriage, as well as offering financial assistance during compassionate circumstances.
The impact of the hotel’s service charge on the future development of staff, as well as its recognition of ambition and dedication, are essential elements of employment at our hotels.
Eden Hotel Collection service charge is purely discretionary, which we carefully highlight throughout the various touchpoints of the guest experience. Service charge rates are 5% on accommodation, 10% on food & beverages and 5% on events.
